VinFast to move corporate headquarters to Singapore

"We feel that Singapore is a jurisdiction that will give investors more confidence," VinFast CEO Le Thi Thu Thuy told Reuters in an interview.

VinFast, a Vietnamese automaker, plans to produce its all-electric SUVs at a plant in Chatham County. The company has pledged an investment of $4 billion and the creation of 7,500 jobs and, if its goals are reached, could get back more than $316 million from the state.
